Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal Adjudicators must submit an annual report to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs within 3 months after 30 June in each year. This is required by the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003.

The report must:

  • summarise applications dealt that year
  • detail any cases that require special mention, in the adjudicator's opinion
  • make any recommendations for changes to the Act, if the adjudicator thinks it's needed based on their experience of the Disputes Tribunal.

The Minister must make the annual report available on this website within 28 days of receiving the report.
